Scanning Modes: Standard, Quick, Turbo, Selfie

StriveScan offers several scanning modes: Standard, Quick, Turbo, and Self-Scan. Scanning mode can be changed at any point without consequence, even in the middle of an event. Regardless of mode, your organization is collecting the same data behind the scenes. 

You'll see Standard, Quick, and Turbo options across the top of the scanning screen. Selfie mode can be accessed via the camera button in the bottom right-hand corner of the scanning screen. 

Standard

• Displays full profile of information with each scan.
• Allows you to take notes and add a rating.
• Requires a solid internet connection.

Quick

• Displays only the registrant's name with each scan.
• Allows you to take notes and add a rating.
• No internet connection is required.
• The app will default to Quick mode if you do not have enough service. 

Turbo

• Great if you're busy; allows you to scan without stopping 
• No internet connection is required

Self-Scan

• Prop up your phone or tablet and let registrants scan themselves.
• Automatically scans when a barcode enters the camera's view.
• Confirms the scan to the registrant with a checkmark.
