Scanning Modes: Standard, Turbo, Self-Scan, Enter ID

StriveScan offers several scanning modes: Standard, Turbo, Self-Scan and Enter ID. Scanning mode can be changed at any point without consequence, even in the middle of an event. Regardless of mode, your organization is collecting the same data behind the scenes. 

While on the camera screen, you'll see Standard, Turbo, Self-Scan, and Enter ID options across the top of the scanning screen.

To scan with Standard or Turbo mode, simply place your device over the student’s barcode to scan instantly.

Standard

• Displays full profile of information with each scan.
• Allows you to take notes and add a rating.

Turbo

• Displays only the registrant's name briefly.
• Great if you're busy; allows you to scan without stopping.

Self-Scan

• Prop up your phone or tablet and let registrants scan themselves.
• Automatically scans when a barcode enters the camera's view.
• Confirms the scan to the registrant with a checkmark.

Enter ID

• Type in a student’s barcode ID number, and it will be collected just like a scan.
• Great for cracked screens or students who only have their barcode ID.
