Emails from StriveScan blocked? Add to approved list

If your school or institution is blocking StriveScan emails, we encourage you to add StriveScan to your approved list of senders in order to ensure your students or staff are able to receive our messages.

Sender List

Recommended method

Adding our sender email addresses or domains is the preferred method:

  • Domain:
    • All messages will come from the @strivescan.com domain.
  • Email addresses:
    • no-reply@strivescan.com
    • help@strivescan.com

IP Addresses

⚠️ Not recommended

StriveScan utilizes Amazon SES to send messages generated by our app. Amazon SES utilizes a dynamic pool of shared IP addresses that may change at anytime, beyond StriveScan control. As a result, this is not our preferred method. If you are unable to add our sender email addresses to an approved list and must use IP addresses, you can obtain the list of IPs by querying the SPF record of the amazonses.com domain.

Email sent by StriveScan's app will be sent through an IP address in one of the IP blocks listed in the record. The record contains blocks of IPV4 (32-bit) addresses, defined using CIDR notation. Each block is specified as an IP address followed by the ‘/’ sign and then the number of bits in the prefix. All IP addresses designated in the block are possible senders. As a result, this is a large number of potential addresses and can be shared with other Amazon clients, which is why we recommend using our Sender Email addresses or domain instead.

Additionally, these IP addresses are subject to change without notice and are beyond the control of StriveScan. However, when the IPs change, the SPF record will be updated, so you should check back from time to time. For more information, consult Amazon's documentation.

Email Verification Codes

Email verification codes that are sent for new representative account registration and for two-factor authentication use a separate system and do not send from these same IP addresses.
